COMMUNITY Group Vision Staunton Alliance Church is committed to helping people develop a healthy, growing relationship with Jesus Christ. We believe the best way to do this is for people to not only participate in the larger community of the Sunday service, but to also be part of a smaller group of people who are living the authentic Christian life throughout the week. We refer to our small groups as COMMUNITY Groups. We define our COMMUNITY Groups as 5 or more people meeting face to face at least twice per month who will commit to provide encouragement and accountability for one another’s spiritual lives. The COMMUNITY Groups at Staunton Alliance Church come in many “flavors”, but no matter what the particular group looks like, each group exists to help the members progress in their: · Intimacy with God · Authentic biblical relationships · Worldwide Discipleship The COMMUNITY Group has the potential to accomplish the strategy of SAC like no other ministry endeavor. As we choose to make ourselves vulnerable to each other, to depend upon each other, to pray and encourage each other, and to reach out with the love of Christ within the context of the COMMUNITY group relationship, we will truly begin to see authentic biblical community being accomplished. COMMUNITY Group Objectives · Fellowship together · Bible-centered study together · Pray together · Do outreach/evangelism together · Have fun together · Multiply after eighteen to twenty-four months If you are interested in being part of a COMMUNITY Group contact Pastor Kipp by
