Our Sunday morning services provide a corporate time of worshiping God. Our goal is to provide a time when all those who attend SAC are challenged and encouraged in their journey of faith. This happens as people enjoy and glorify God through the Word of God (the Bible), through prayer, through authentic expressions of worship, and through meditation and reflection.
The typical service begins with prayer followed by about 20 minutes of singing praise songs. Most Sundays, we have a band (guitars, piano, drums, bass, etc.) accompanying our praise team and we sing mostly praise choruses with one or two hymns. During this time, we may read responsively out of the Psalms, or the congregation is frequently given time to speak out prayers of thanksgiving to God. We occasionally have a special music number—either a soloist or a choir. The typical sermon is about 30 minutes in length, and Pastor Bill usually preaches through a book of the Bible. We also participate in Communion once a month, and throughout the year we use drama and video clips to punctuate a point.
We have no dress code at SAC. Feel free to wear what you think is appropriate. We have those who dress up, those who go casual and everything in between.
For Children and Youth, we have Sunday School classes, and for adults we have Adult Bible Fellowship.
